Personal

Runlapse

liveReact Native Expo TypeScript Devin Windsurf Hermes

The product

Runlapse is a personal training log that turns raw workout entries into actionable weekly summaries. Instead of manually comparing spreadsheets, users open the app and see how this week compares to the last — volume, consistency, and progress across sessions.

  • Workout logging with per-session detail
  • Automatic weekly summaries and progress view
  • Mobile-first experience built for quick entry between sets

The tech

React Native and Expo in strict TypeScript, with a clean, layered architecture set as the priority from day one, so agents work inside clear boundaries instead of improvising structure.

Development runs on an automated agent pipeline built on Devin and Windsurf: shared project skills give every agent the same context, and each agent has one job.

  • Planner, builder and reviewer agents with explicit responsibilities
  • Project-level skills and rules as shared agent context
  • Cost-aware model selection: the right LLM for each task
  • Scheduled Hermes cron jobs that check repo issues, group them by category and implement the fixes on a new release branch

My role

Solo mobile engineer

I own the project end to end: product definition, architecture, the agent workflow that builds it, and the release.

  • Product and UX decisions
  • Architecture, data model and weekly-summary logic
  • Agent workflow design: skills, roles, model selection and scheduled jobs
  • Release on Google Play
